Karen Oster
Personal Trainer

Why I got started in the fitness world:
When my children were young, I got involved in a physical education class at Olympic College for fitness and social reasons. After six months, the instructor asked if I would like to get involved instructing. I took the opportunity immediately and was hooked because classes were packed. At that time, we were in Keds brand shoes for cross-trainers and doing some very questionable moves but having a blast. We had 45 music records and a routine to each. We even had the class bring cans of soup for weight training segments.

Why I am still involved in the fitness world:
I have come a long way in my personal quest for good health and well being and I love to encourage others to be the best they can be. Having turned 50 this year I feel great! I attribute this to the fact that I have been physically active for so many years. I expect many more years of activity and I know helping others achieve their goals will keep me motivated.

Other interests:
I am currently aiding my daughter in her new business as a massage Therapist and I am working to compete in the Masters Figure Competitions.
